The FPV550 Quadcopter frame is specialty designed to be used as an FPV platform, with a very large central area to carry your FPV gear and a dedicated GoPro mount at the front.

Details about your FPV550 Quadcopter Frame

INcluded Parts

  • 1x Upper Frame Plate
  • 1x Lower Frame Plate
  • 4x Damping wheels
  • 4x Motor Mount Plate
  • 1x Flight Control Protection Plate
  • 8x Arm Plate
  • 52x Nylon Hexagonal Spacer
  • 8x Nylon Tube Spacer 3x5x6.5mm
  • 104x M3x6mm Screw
  • 8x M3 nuts
  • 4x M3x10mm Screw
  • 4x Nylon Tube Spacer 3x5x2mm
  • 4x M3x30mm Screw

Arm Assembly

  • Attach the Nylon Hex spacers onto an arm plate using the M3x6mm Screws.  You will need to do this for all 4 of the arms
  • It is important to do this for all of the spacer holes in increase the arm strength and rigidity.

  • Using the M3x30mm screw and nylon tubes, attach the wheel to the arm.
  • Attach the motor mount plate to the arm taking note of the correct orientation

  • Now bring the other arms plate together and secure it using the M3x6mm screws.  
  • The wheel will need to be secured using the M3 Nut.

  • Repeat the steps above for all 4 of the quadcopter arms

Central Frame Assembly

  • Use the Nylon Hex spacers and M3x6 screws and attach them to the bottom plate as shown.
  • It is important to do this for all of the spacer holes in increase the arm strength and rigidity.
  • You can also mount your power distribution board on the bottom plate if you prefer.  Now would be a good time to do it

  • On the Upper plate, you can either mount your flight control board, or power distribution board as shown.

  • On the Upper Plate, again mount some Nylon Hex spacers with the M3x6mm screws as these will be used to mount the protection plate.

  • You will now need to attach the arms onto the bottom plate, and secure them together using by screwing down the upper plate using the remaining M3x6mm screws

  • The last step it so mount the protection frame onto the frame as shown.  You will need to use the M3x6mm screws.
